Liquor worth of 66L seized, one arrested

Vadodara: The state monitoring cell (SMC) on Tuesday seized a huge stock of liquor in Godhra taluka of Panchmahal district. The cops received a tip-off, following which they intercepted a truck near Chundadi village of Godhra. The police said that they found over 16,700 bottles of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) worth Rs 66.

57 lakh from the truck. The cops arrested the driver, identified as Raju Mori, a resident of Porbandar. Mori told the police that he was on his way to deliver the stock to a man identified as Raju Rabari, who stays in Devbhumi Dwarka.
