The Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Rams are locked in a defensive battle on Sunday Night Football at Ford Field, with the home team taking a 10-3 lead into halftime. Other than a Lions touchdown scored by running back Jahmyr Gibbs at the goal line just before the half, both teams had only allowed a single field goal each. The game started with each team going three-and-out and punting, followed by a 13-play, 67-yard drive by the Rams that ended in a Joshua Karty 41-yard field goal.

The Lions responded with a 15-play, 63-yard drive that ended with a Jake Bates 25-yard field goal. The Rams had a 12-play, 55-yard drive end on a fourth down conversion attempt that wide receiver Cooper Kupp dropped on a nice pass breakup by Lions cornerback Carlton Davis III. That's when the Lions went down the field on 9 plays and 77 yards, capping it off with a short Gibbs touchdown run at the goal line after replay officials reviewed it and reversed the call on the field.

com/fTAEJqB4Yn After the Lions scored, Los Angeles stormed down the field on nine plays and 62 yards, getting it into the red zone. However, former Lions and current Rams quarterback made what has been the biggest miscue of the game on his own accord, throwing an interception to safety Kerby Joseph in the end zone to kill the Rams' scoring threat at the end of the half. Stafford picked in the end zone! @Lions get another huge stop on defense.
