There is a specific method you should follow if you are going to plant lilies in your garden to make sure they enjoy the best growth. These clusters of lilies should be grown in an area of your garden that enjoys full sun to make sure that they grow as well as they can. The bulbs, gardening experts say, should be bestween six and seven inches underneath the ground.
While they need to be planted in clusters, it's important for these clusters to be spaced apart. This means that sunlight will be able to reach all parts of the plant to promote healthy growth. Additionally, lilies should not be watered too much as this can lead to bulb rot.

They said: "Originating from environments that typically experience periodic dry spells, cluster-lilies has adapted to thrive with moderate moisture levels. It is well-suited for conditions where the soil can dry out slightly between waterings, exhibiting a balance in its water needs.
" When planting in clusters, it's important to do it right. Now that we have covered the number of bulbs in each clusterand how deep they should be, it's time to focus on how they should be positioned. These bulbs have a pointed end.
This end of the bulb should be facing up, with the hair-like roots facing downwards. Before they are planted, you need to make sure that you remove weeds and fertilise the soil to give your flowers the best chance of growth..
