Read More Rapper Montero Lamar Hill, popularly known as Lil Nas X , revealed that he was hospitalised after losing control of one side of his face. He shared that he was experiencing partial facial paralysis and posted a video from his hospital bed on Monday, April 14. The video was shared on Instagram and showed the 26-year-old wearing a hospital gown and a colourful Von Dutch cap.



He pointed out that he couldn’t move the right side of his face. “This is me doing a full smile right now by the way," he said in the video. He then tried to smile and held his jaw.

“It’s like what the f***. Bro, I can’t even laugh right, bro. What the f—.

Ah! Oh my God," he says in the video. Lil Nas X then covered his mouth and looked at the camera. “So .

.." he said while laughing.

Then he added, “Oh my God, bro. Ahhh. Ahhh.

So, yeah." “Soooo lost control of the right side of my face," the rapper wrote in the caption. Fans and celebrities shared their concern in the comments.

In the caption, he added, “Imma look funny for a little bit but that’s it." Back in March, Lil Nas X released a single titled Hotbox. The song was part of his EP Days Before Dreamboy, which also featured other tracks.

In an earlier interview with Paper magazine, the rapper spoke about why he picked Hotbox as the main release. He said the song felt “light" and wasn’t meant to prove anything. Lil Nas X said he first thought of using music to reply to his critics.

But he later chose to go with something that was fun and uplifting. He said Hotbox was meant to bring a moment of carefree joy which allowed listeners to forget their worries even if just for a few minutes..
