Adams picked up the injury in Montpellier’s Ligue 1 clash with Brest just before the international break. The former Flying Eagles striker stated that the injury won’t keep him on the sidelines for too long.

“I suffered a strain in the abductor muscle,” he told SCORENigeria. “I will be out for a few weeks and miss a couple of games, but I have already started rehab.” The 24-year-old has scored three goals in 11 league appearances for Montpelier this season.
