Life as a starting quarterback in the regular season has been very different. Sure, the offense as a whole has been bad. The offensive line isn't great at the moment and the wide receiver corps is a bit dull for a rookie to be throwing to.

However, Nix deserves some credit for the bad play as well. He's a rookie and rookies will make mistakes, and he's certainly not prone to that so far. And now, after some recent news regarding the team, Nix's life in the NFL will only get harder.

According to NFL insiders around the league, the Denver Broncos are adding offensive lineman Mike McGlinchey to the Injured Reserved list, meaning he will be out for at least four weeks as he deals with an MCL sprain. Matt Peart will be taking over his spot. Bo Nix has already been sacked four times with an average time to throw of 2.

82 seconds. So, yeah, life is about to get harder. The Broncos play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next.
