Monrovia – A new health facility that offers natural solutions to various health complications—particularly non-communicable diseases such as high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity, and cancer—was officially dedicated over the weekend in Monrovia. The facility, named TIENS, is a subsidiary of a Chinese multinational conglomerate with the slogan “Heal Naturally.” It promotes alternative health care treatments, including rehabilitation for stroke and diabetes patients, obesity management, cellular nutrition, detoxification, and massage therapy.

Speaking at the dedication ceremony, proprietresses of TIENS Liberia, Matilda Parker and Grace Kpaan, shared that the facility initially began operations in New Kru Town on Bushrod Island before relocating to its newly constructed site in the Sophie Community, Congo Town. They revealed that ahead of the new facility’s opening, TIENS Liberia signed a partnership agreement with Jahmale Medical Solutions at ELWA Junction. The agreement mandates Jahmale to provide additional medical services to TIENS clients when needed.

“We signed this partnership agreement with Jahmale Medical Solutions so they can deliver further medical services that we are not equipped to provide,” said Madam Matilda Parker.Founded in 1995 and headquartered in Tianjin, China, Tiens Group operates in diverse fields including biotechnology, health management, and education. The company boasts a global footprint in 111 countries with 226 branches.

Through an interpreter, Eric Zhongtao Zhang, President of TIENS for the Asia-Pacific and African regions, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to delivering quality healthcare products and services in Liberia.Mr. Zhang disclosed that TIENS Group has invested US$3.

2 billion to promote health and wellness globally, including in the 111 countries where it operates. He praised the Liberian government’s efforts to improve the nation’s healthcare system and infrastructure.“TIENS is here for good.

We’re committed to supporting Liberia’s healthcare system and will use our natural products to promote good health and wellness,” Zhang emphasized. Also speaking at the event was Dr. DeWitt Von Ballmoos, Chief Executive Officer of Jahmale Medical Solutions and Director General of NASSCORP.

He described the presence of TIENS in Liberia as the dawn of a new era in healthcare.According to Dr. Von Ballmoos, many Liberians have long lacked access to quality healthcare, often traveling to neighboring Ghana for basic treatments.

He recounted that prior to the establishment of Jahmale, many patients were misdiagnosed or unaware of their true health conditions.“Before we built Jahmale, most patients only knew about malaria or typhoid. I thought it was necessary to build an advanced diagnostic center that could accurately detect illnesses,” he said.

He also revealed plans to expand Jahmale Medical Solutions into a fully operational inpatient hospital, capable of providing comprehensive medical services to the Liberian public. The post Liberia: New Health Facility Offering Natural Remedies for Chronic Illnesses Dedicated in Monrovia appeared first on FrontPageAfrica..
