On December11th, LG Electronics announced that it unveiled the new video segment 'Red Wolf' of its 'Endangered Animal Protection Campaign with LG' on the Times Square billboard in New York on December 9th (local time). The video highlights the severity of forest ecosystem destruction, showing a red wolf that has lost its habitat due to reckless deforestation and the devastation of the forest. The red wolf is an endangered species classified as "critically endangered" on the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) Red List, with an estimated 20 individuals remaining in the wild, primarily in the North Carolina region of the United States.

This campaign creates 3D representations of animals endangered by climate change to raise awareness about the importance of biodiversity and to instill a sense of urgency about global warming. So far, videos featuring the snow leopard (April), bald eagle (July), and sea lion (September) have been showcased, raising awareness among Times Square visitors about the importance of environmental protection. LG Electronics will continue the campaign next year.

Driven by positive feedback, the theme for next year's campaign will reflect the opinions of global customers. This month, a customer survey to select the theme for next year's campaign will be conducted on the campaign's official website and LG Electronics' North American Instagram. Kyu-Hwang Jeong, Executive Vice President and Head of LG Electronics North America, stated, "We will resonate with more people for a sustainable global ecosystem," adding, "Next year, we will run an effective campaign to raise awareness about the importance of environmental protection and biodiversity.
