We need a Karen to defend TewksburyIt’s time to put the power of Planning Board back in the hands of the people. Which is why I’ve decided that I am supporting only one candidate for Planning Board, my wife, Karen DiFruscia.Karen is a mother and grandmother, who raised her children here, and has called Tewksbury home for almost 30 years.
She knows our town – and she will do the right thing for the residents here. The Planning Board plays an outsized role in preserving the integrity of Tewksbury. It is a job that has little fanfare and a lot of work.
We need a voice for us when big decisions about the future of our town is being made. We need a Karen! On April 5, I’m casting my ballot for Karen DiFruscia for Planning Board, and urge my neighbors to do the same.— Marc DiFrusciaTewksburyDunlevy Tosto for Tewksbury Select BoardTo the Tewksbury Voters,Lindsey Dunlevy Tosto is a third generation Tewksbury Resident who moved back to her hometown a few years ago.
True to her upbringing, she possesses a strong sense of community service. As such, Lindsey is willing to offer her financial expertise (She is a Certified Public Accountant.), along with her strong desire to prioritize fiscal responsibility and transparent budgeting to move the town forward, on behalf the residents of Tewksbury.
I appreciate her willingness to work tirelessly for us.In learning more about Lindsey, I want to share a quote which I thought was most revealing. “I am excited about the opportunity to be part of the community in a deep, meaningful way.
While I am working hard to earn trust and votes, I plan on being an active participant in town government, always advocating for the best interest of ALL the residents, despite the final outcome on April 5.” In what no doubt will be challenging times ahead; Tewksbury needs young professionals, like Lindsey, to get involved and stay involved. A vote for Lindsey Dunlevy Tosto will bring a fresh perspective to the Select Board.
Please join me and cast a vote for Lindsey Dunlevy Tosto for Select Board on Saturday, April 5!— Anne Marie StronachTewksburyDuffy for Tewksbury Planning BoardWe are voting for Jim Duffy for Planning Board on Saturday, April 5. Here’s why..
.Jim Duffy and his family have been involved in Tewksbury for over 40 years. Before he served on the Planning Board (2022 to Present), he served in many roles including youth sports, Green Committee, active town meeting member etc.
Jim understands the responsibility of being a Planning Board member. To Jim, it is a critical role which requires tremendous time and effort to understand and balance the applicant’s plans with a deep knowledge of Tewksbury’s By Laws, coupled with our State Regulations. He is an experienced contractor who holds multiple licenses including Construction Supervisor & LEED AP – Building Design and Construction.
Did you know Jim has even taught many young, up and coming union carpenters during their apprenticeship. Most importantly he is the most qualified person for the seat with a deep commitment to making a positive impact on the Town he loves, the Town he wants to grow old in, the Town he wants his kids and grandkids to live and flourish in!Planning for the future is a challenge. We need Jim’s experience and leadership, that is why we are voting on April 5th to return Jim Duffy to the Planning Board!— Rick and Anne Marie StronachTewksburyVote for Ryan Lloyd for Tewksbury Select BoardRyan Lloyd is a longtime Tewksbury resident.
He graduated from Shawsheen Tech in 2009. After graduating he enlisted in the US Air Force and served for 12 years in bases around the world.Ryan got a bachelor’s degree in political science from American Military University.
He worked for different campaigns and organizations and advocated for veterans to get them the services they deserve. Besides working for veterans causes he has been involved with local politics and is currently working as Chairman for the Tewksbury Housing Authority, sits on the Tewksbury Historic Commission, is an active member of VFW Post 8164, and sits in on Select Board and other town board meetings. Some of his goals are:• Keeping taxes affordable• Preserving the “small town” feel.
We don’t want it to feel like a city• Offering the voters someone on the Select Board who will listen to them and represent them• Work with our regional partners and state and federal delegations to bring in funding to fix our aging water systems• Increase security and assistance to the state hospital• Work with Planning Board and Town Planner to implement new guidelines to increase our housing inventory and business partners while balancing traffic and infrastructure concerns.Ryan devotes much of his time making Tewksbury a place where people want to live, that he should be on the Select Board where he can make a difference. He has the drive and energy needed to make Tewksbury a place where people want to live.
If you have any concerns about the direction things are going, then vote Ryan Lloyd on April 5th.— Jim Harmon and Joan UngerTewksburyDiFruscia for Tewksbury Planning BoardI’m proud to endorse my friend, Karen DiFruscia, for a seat on the Planning Board in this year’s election.I’m a proud third generation Tewksbury resident, but I’m concerned that I may not be able to stay here due to rising housing costs.
We need smart policy coming from the Planning Board that will incentivize construction that works for Tewksbury.I believe the candidate to get us there is Karen DiFruscia. She is the only candidate in the race opposed to the MBTA Communities Act, an irresponsible piece of legislation that will make the housing problem in our town worse.
It’s time for a new voice and a fresh perspective. I ask that my fellow voters join me in voting for Karen DiFruscia for Tewksbury Planning Board on Saturday, April 5th.— Matt Hanson TewksburyCommitted to BillericaCasting a vote is not like tossing a coin into a wishing well.
Voting is trusting that the person you elect will uphold promises with professionalism and integrity. Public service is an honor, and a commitment. Elected officials must hold themselves accountable to the trust voters place in them.
Jillian Pavidis is running for Select Board: A lifelong Billerica resident, dedicated to raising her family in the town where her parents still live, where her brother raises his family. She may be new to town politics, but she’s not new to leadership. As a marketing director, she manages complex, multimillion-dollar budgets, builds strategic partnerships, and drives collaboration among competing priorities — all while delivering results.
She brings a fresh, professional perspective that values progress, problem-solving, and smart decision-making. Most importantly, she cares deeply about this town, and her slogan is “Your voice. My commitment”.
Billerica deserves a Select Board that represents the diverse voices of our residents. The best way to ensure that happens is to vote. We should make our voices heard: Vote early starting March 31st at Town Hall or on April 5th from 8 AM to 8 PM at your precinct.
