Article content STRIKING OUT Re “Stark comparison” (Rob Longley, Oct. 28): It’s very simple. The brain trust you would expect — starting at the top and working their way down to the coaches and players on the field — need to show the fans of Toronto (stadium attendees and flat screen TV viewers alike) that there’s a reason to support a losing proposition as far as the once very exciting team is concerned.

Could it be arrogance as in, forgive them, for they know not what they need, or a refusal to see himself as most Canadians do — weak, woke and self-centred? He won’t let voters decide which for more than another year.
