Article content STRAIGHT TALK Thank you for telling it straight and being a source of sanity and media ethics in these crazy times of misinformation and backwards, nonsensical ethics. I watch Batra’s Burning Questions consistently and I love the considered analysis that you display. You really have your feet firmly on the ground.

We have more to come in 2025) “VIBECESSION” Re “Freeland channels Orwell’s 1984 ” (Editorial, Nov. 29): How long did it take for the Liberal Party backrooms to come up with “vibecession.” So we’re told it’s all our imagination.

Mike Adair Barrie (That is the logical thing to do, instead the current federal government doesn’t take these matters seriously) TRUMP IS THE ONLY ONE TO FIX IT As a lifetime Toronto Sun reader and strong Conservative, I take great exception to the Nov. 26 Sue Dewar cartoon at a time when illegal immigration in both the U.S.
A. and Canada is out of control and a disaster, socially, financially and criminally. There is nowhere to put the good ones, the criminals and terrorists are having a field day.
Our current governments are totally incapable of solving this problem, yet are continuing to stoke the fire. Only Trump will address this head on, and he deserves the strong support of right thinking people, not jokes. This cartoon belongs in the Toronto Star where most of their readers suffer from Trump Derangement Syndrome and are too woke.
I’m sure they’ll love it. John Scharien Sunderland, Ont. (Fair point).
