Article content NEW SHEPHERD, SAME SHEEP Recommended Videos Our country is now facing an important election, and we must stop wringing our hands in fear of an unenlightened bully in the United States. It’s time to stand up for Canada and get our act together. We now hear talk of interprovincial trade, pipelines from West to East, and a stronger military – especially in the Arctic.
These and other things, such as home ownership, crime control, high taxes, and deficits must be dealt with. These have not been handled properly, by our previous government, which is totally responsible for the existing mess in our economy. Moving forward positively on the above-mentioned items will sustain Canada, now and in the future.
We now have a prime minister who has never been elected, has never spent one minute in a Parliament, or even on a city council. All the tired Liberal Party can offer is a repeat of economic gloom. I am a senior citizen and I believe we need to rejuvenate Canada and give hope to all – especially our younger generation.
They must have a chance to live their dreams as we have lived ours. Don’t be tempted by the empty promises of the Liberals again. They may have a new shepherd, but the same sheep reside in the cabinet.

Trump will do as he pleases regardless of who our PM is. I have always believed that this is just a strategy to wear us down before CUSMA renegotiations. The structural issues in Canada’s economy will survive Trump and we need to decide if they will be exacerbated by a fourth Liberal term or tackled by a fresh new Conservative government.
