Letters for October 25, 2024: 'Canada is becoming too divided.'

Why can’t we all get along? Why do we allow the Bloc, a party that does not run candidates in all provinces, a party that is separatist, to dictate what is good for Quebec is good for all of Canada? Why do we allow the French and the East to decide what is good for all Canadians? What happened to the Canada that people wanted to come to for a better life? Now they bring their life with them and expect to impose it on us. Soon we will be forced to divide Canada into French, English and Indigenous nations? GEORGE EWERT (We already seem very divided.) Move on, Mayor Jyoti Gondek needs to show a bit more leadership attributes and just suck it up and continue her role as mayor of Calgary.

Back when Chu was in hot water concerning these allegations, he was a member of the CPS and was eventually cleared of any wrong doings. As for Jyoti Gondek, she wasn’t even living in Calgary or anywhere in the province of Alberta, for that matter. The mayor seems to be stuck in the past.

Jyoti needs to come into the light of the present and let go of the past. Donald K. Munroe (Maybe he shouldn’t be going to schools though.

) Who would take him Trudeau is going nowhere for the simple reason that nobody wants him. Can you imagine for a moment his demands for a salary and benefits? No, his globalist keepers prefer that he remains prime minister and continues to do their woke bidding. And what an asset to have, a dude, with no sense of economics, who gleefully squander’s taxpayers money on frivolous entries around the world.

J.D. Round (Just throwing out ideas, but maybe we post for an available PM and see if anybody takes him?) All the love for Smith I would like to say I believe the vast majority of Albertans strongly support our Premier Danielle Smith.

We love the way she stands up for family values. We love her strong financial management that protects future generations from deficits. We love how she opposes Trudeau when he interferes in areas that are clearly Alberta’s jurisdiction.

By the way, we are still waiting for NDP Leader Nenshi to break ties with the anti-Alberta Federal NDP, considering this was his #1 Promise in the NDP Leadership Campaign. We love the way Danielle protects, not only Alberta values, but our way of life. So when the unions and some media try to create the impression that UCP support is waning, I want everyone to know nothing could be further from the truth.

We support the UCP and Danielle Smith fights more than any other politician in Canada to bring the energy to Alberta!!! Chris Robertson (Exactly what are the parameters of your survey? Was it scientific at all?).
