That means health care in Alberta costs $9246 for every man, woman, and child in Alberta. So, for a family of four, it costs nearly $37000 for their annual health care on average. This is insane.
Many countries offer private health care under a universal system – no one is denied, but you may be treated publicly or privately (e.g. Portugal).
To those that suggest Canada has free health care, I suggest you learn a little more how the economy works.
