Letter: Vote for state's future, not past

I saw Sen. Deb Fisher’s new ad on TV. She has clearly tied herself to Donald Trump.

Nebraska doesn’t deserve a candidate that supports the chaos, hate and division that goes with his current campaign and past presidency. Anyone who supports someone who tried to overturn an election, been convicted of 34 felonies, found liable for sex crimes, slept with a porn star and cheats on his wife and taxes doesn’t deserve to hold a seat in the Senate. Not to mention that he ripped away the health care of young women across the country.



The Republican Party is definitely not what it was in the past. It’s time for leadership that looks to the future and make sure that the American experiment carries on. Let’s vote for candidates that support the common good and not just wealthy and corporations.
