Letter: Urge Rep. Griffith to help fight Alzheimer’s

At a time when nearly 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s, including more than 164,000 in Virginia, prioritizing how this devastating disease is addressed remains a critical issue for our country.

Much progress has been made in the fight against Alzheimer’s over the last decade thanks in large part to Congress passing the National Alzheimer’s Project Act (NAPA), the Alzheimer’s Accountability Act, and the Building Our Largest Dementia (BOLD) Infrastructure for Alzheimer’s Act. With these critical laws set to expire soon, updated legislation is urgently needed by people living with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers. Please join me and the Alzheimer’s Association in urging Rep.

Morgan Griffith to renew our nation’s commitment to the fight against Alzheimer’s and other dementia by passing the NAPA Reauthorization Act, the Alzheimer’s Accountability and Investment Act, and the BOLD Reauthorization Act.
