Donald Trump is now boasting that God saved him from assassination, and it is a sign that The Almighty has chosen him to lead the country to greatness, apparently by reversing all the progress that has been made in the last 50 years. Funny. He had not spoken of any belief in God before, except for a flippant “God bless the USA” or “God bless our troops” to conclude a speech in which he had defamed political leaders as “a disgrace,” foreign immigrants as “criminals and rapists” and the U.
S. as “a failing nation.” Sorry, big guy! You got that wrong, too.
Consider that God has granted you a few more years of life to give you a chance to atone for a few of your many sins against Americans, humanity and God. You’ll never live long enough to make up all of it, but now that you acknowledge there is a compassionate God, could you just make a start? People are also reading..
