So our fair governor is disappointed in the outcome of the Legislature's vote on winner-take-all because the minority prevailed. Does he not understand that he along with the Legislature represent the minority as well as the majority? And that the voice of the minority deserves to be represented just as much as the majority? Maybe instead of Nebraska being like everyone else, everyone else should be like Nebraska. I applaud those senators that voted the voice of their constituents for they did exactly as their job required.

Keep our electoral votes tied to the districts they represent and not tied to a single party for this is the only way that the voice of the people can be heard. To paraphrase Abraham Lincoln, our government must remain "of the people, by the people and for the people."
