LETTER: Protecting public lands is a climate and justice imperative

In her March 27 webinar, GreenLatinos Public Lands Director Olivia Juarez emphasized the need not only to protect public lands, but also to empower everyday people to take an active role in shaping sound climate policy. Not only are our public lands and waters at risk, but so is access to them. Juarez envisions a future where everyone has safe, welcoming entry to public parks, beaches, and national monuments.
