The Tulsa World chose to make a piece of Republican propaganda one of the three above-the-fold headlines on Nov. 7 ( "Lankford eases worries about Trump threats" ). I’d like to know whose fears were actually eased by the reported remarks.
Looking back at the first President Donald Trump administration should give no comfort. Clearly, Trump took office in 2017 believing that his merely winning an election meant people would have to be personally loyal to him. While he is not a good student or quick learner, he had four years to learn that was untrue.
So this time he will make sure the people he surrounds himself with are primarily loyal to him, not the country. People are also reading..

James Lankford thinks the Senate can stop Trump. The U.S.
Supreme Court made it clear they believe impeachment is the only form of accountability for a president. Is Lankford suggesting that Trump will be impeached and convicted if he uses the U.S.
Justice Department or the military against his opponents? That is pure fantasy. Perhaps the Tulsa World could do some follow up interviews with the business leaders who attended that talk. Let’s see if they are unaware of Trump v.
