Why is Congressman Brad Finstad so afraid to face the people of Rochester and southern Minnesota? Rather than show up for in-person town halls, Finstad hides behind controlled telephone events — carefully scripted and designed to avoid real accountability. Is he that worried someone might confront him about his abysmal voting record? ADVERTISEMENT Finstad has voted against lowering prescription drug costs, against protecting reproductive freedom, against investing in rural communities, and against defending our democracy. When Minnesotans need someone to stand up for them, Finstad sides with party bosses and the extreme Trump wing instead.
He’s not representing Rochester — he’s representing a failed political agenda. And instead of answering directly to the people he serves, he continues to dodge us. We deserve a representative with the courage to look us in the eye, defend their record, and truly listen.
Not one who phones it in and hopes no one notices. Congressman Finstad may be hiding now, but Rochester is paying attention. And when it’s time to vote, we’ll remember who showed up — and who didn’t.
