Letter: Equal treatment should be expected

I had the privilege of working at the Mayo Clinic for 35 years. It’s a wonderful organization, but like many large establishments it has its pluses and minuses. In regards to the new Office of Belonging.

I just have one question and concern. ADVERTISEMENT Do you really need a committee and an office to treat every person as an equal? Should that not be a given and expectation? Is a press conference and an article in the paper praising yourself for something that should not even need to addressed. Just a thought.
