I know a lot of letters endorsing politicians will be written in the upcoming weeks. Many saying this guy is better than that guy, or my candidate is smarter than she is, etc. One candidate for county supervisor is a big motivator for me this year.
She is a lawyer and a constant fighter for women’s rights including bodily autonomy. She has volunteered in her community, coached her sons' teams when they were growing up. And she has never shied away from doing jobs many considered a man’s job, because she knows women are up to the task! My longtime friend, Maria Bribriesco will add a much needed feminine, Latino and common-sense voice to the Scott County Board of Supervisors.
Above all please vote. But if you want to add a candidate to your list of (whom should I vote for) Maria is one of them. Maria Bribriesco is not a politician who will just sit back once elected.
She knows our county health department always needs help. Our Sheriff's department can always use a friend. She knows county mental health gets overlooked.
