MALAPPURAM: Youth League leader PK Firos has asked BJP leader Surendran to release the list of those who died during the Ramadan fast without getting a drop of water. He also told the media that if Surendran is ready to travel from Ramanattukara to Edappal during the next fast, the Youth League will take him. Firos said this in response to Surendran's remark that not even a drop of water will be available in the Malappuram district for a month during which the fast is observed.
'Some hotels do not open during the fasting period. What is the reason? When most people in Malappuram district fast, business is low, which is why many do not open hotels. This is when people from other states take leave and go home.
