Lee Do Hyun and Go Min Si may be reuniting in a new drama! On April 2, a media outlet reported that Lee Do Hyun is set to star in the upcoming project by celebrated screenwriters the Hong Sisters (Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran). In response to the report, Lee Do Hyun’s agency YUEHWA Entertainment Korea stated, “It is a project that he received a [casting] offer for.” Previously in January, Go Min Si’s agency Mystic Story confirmed that the actress is preparing for the Hong Sisters’ new project.
While Cha Eun Woo was also in talks, a recent report claimed that the actor has now withdrawn. The Hong Sisters have yet to officially reveal details about the new project, including its title, plot, and cast. Lee Do Hyun previously worked with the Hong Sisters through “ Hotel Del Luna .
” At the time, as a rookie actor, Lee Do Hyun portrayed the character Go Chung Myung and acted alongside IU. If Lee Do Hyun accepts his casting offer, it will mark his second collaboration with the Hong Sisters as well as his third time working with Go Min Si following the “Sweet Home” series and “ Youth of May .” Lee Do Hyun is currently serving in the Air Force military band and is scheduled to be discharged on May 13.
