Colorado kept its Big 12 title hopes alive with a big win over Utah on Saturday. Colorado got off to a great start and was up 21-9 at halftime before later winning by 25, 49-24. The Buffaloes are now 8-2 heading into their final two games of the regular season.
After the Buffaloes got the win, LeBron James shouted out head coach Deion Sanders for the impressive job he has done this season. "I don’t hear non of those @CUBuffsFootball @DeionSanders HATERS being up front and loud! They’re in hiding now! Coach Prime said 'We Coming.' Well, it’s 'We Here' now.
Love what’s going on there in Boulder," James tweeted . Ronald Martinez/Getty Images It's been a remarkable turnaround for the Buffaloes after they only won one game just two seasons ago. Sanders got that win total up to four last year before doubling it to eight this year.
Sanders has done a great job rebuilding this program and they have a shot at playing for the Big 12 title if they can win out. Quarterback Shedeur Sanders has had a great year and is showing why he's arguably the top quarterback in the 2025 draft class. He finished Saturday's game with 340 yards through the air, three touchdowns, and an interception.
Wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter, a top favorite for the Heisman Trophy, finished with five receptions for 55 yards, along with one rushing touchdown. He's also likely going to go very early in the draft considering how talented he is. The Buffaloes will be back in action next Saturday when they travel to Kansas to take on the Jayhawks.
Kickoff will be at 3:30 p.m. ET.
