After winning just one of their last five games, the Los Angeles Lakers picked up a 105-104 win over the Utah Jazz on Sunday night. The Lakers used a massive third quarter from stars Anthony Davis and LeBron James to create some separation heading into the final stretch, but Utah managed to make things close late. Ultimately, Los Angeles avoided blowing the lead as the Jazz failed to get a last-second shot attempt up.

Davis finished with 33 points and 11 boards, continuing his MVP-level season. James had 27 points and 14 assists as he continued to prove that his court vision is seemingly getting better with age. After the win, fans praised Davis and James for picking up the win.

The Lakers looked like championship contenders early this season after starting the year 10-4, but have shown their flaws over the last few weeks. They pulled out a gritty win on Sunday to improve to 12-8 and now will look to continue building momentum..
