LeBron James and Victor Wembanyama signed a Topps trading card, which could be the most valuable basketball card of all time.

As LeBron James winds down one of (if not the) best NBA careers of all time, another global superstar is waiting to take his place. The timing of Victor Wembanyama's arrival to the San Antonio Spurs couldn't be better, as the NBA will be looking for a new face of the league when James retires. Wembanyama is the obvious choice to take the crown from The King, and their instant-classic 2024 gold medal game at the Paris Olympics was a defining moment in both of their careers.

Six cards exist, although only one of them is the ultra-rare Superfractor. In 2021, a jersey patch rookie card signed by Stephen Curry sold for a record $5.

9 million, and this card, with a dual signature, stands to break that record if it hits an auction house. BREAKING: The first EVER LeBron James & Victor Wembanyama dual autograph card has officially arrived. There are 6 of these cards in existence: a 1/1 Superfractor, and a Red version limited to 5 copies.

Currently, a Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout card from 2019 is for sale for $20,000. However, that is not a rookie card and is numbered 1-10, so it's twice as common as the Wembanyama and James card. Unfortunately, the card will not be found in regular packs that casual collectors (and kids) can afford to buy.

The magic of ripping packs and knowing there is a chance you could find an all-time card has unfortunately ended as companies, Topps included, put their most valuable cards in special sets instead of regular packs.
