Lava Beds seeks public input in planning for Petroglyph Point

LAVA BEDS NATIONAL MONUMENT — Public comments and ideas for managing the Petroglyph Point area of Lava Beds National Monument is being sought by park managers. Superintendent Chris Mengel said the public comment period that’s open through Nov. 24 is wanted “to discuss future ideas as part of a planning effort for the Petroglyph Point area of Lava Beds National Monument.
