What did you miss? Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen labelled one particular decision "quite questionable" on this week's episode of Interior Design Masters with Alan Carr. Now in its sixth series , the BBC reality competition returned to our screens on Thursday, 10 April with a fresh crop of contestants hoping to impress judge Michelle Ogundehin and a rotating panel of specialists. While inspecting Victoria's transformation of a Lake District youth hostel room, Llewelyn-Bowen took issue with the splitting of the space which allowed guests to make use of a separate dressing room.
What, how and why? "I feel like it speaks volumes about me as a person and I'm delighted with the end product," said Victoria to the cameras, having earlier described her style as contemporary luxe. But when Ogundehin and Llewelyn-Bowen let themselves into the room, the pair were instantly unconvinced by what they encountered. "Oh this is interesting.
Victoria's sectioned off the main bit of room and given me a little dressing room area," commented the former. Read more: Looking around, Llewelyn-Bowen stated: "The creation of a dressing room is quite questionable in this context. With this brief, what you need is somewhere to put your boots on - it's not to put your blusher on at all.
" "We didn't need the stripes on the ceiling and I have a real issue with the dried flower chandelier. I just feel like that's a complete contrast with the dried flowers against this beautiful wallpaper," Ogundehin later pointed out in the main section. The premiere's guest expert then suggested Victoria may have suffered from "idea buffet blindness.
" Who left the competition this week? Unfortunately for Ese, his Interior Design Masters dream is over. Speaking to Yahoo UK after his elimination , the 27-year-old shared: "I was gutted to leave first because I came on the show hoping I would stay until the end, even though I didn't register that obviously someone has to leave. "But it was exciting to be part of the experience for the week and say I've been on Interior Design Masters.
It's a dream that I've always had, so it was good to have it regardless of whether it lasted till the end or not. "I know I need to learn my own instincts and to trust them. I feel the experience helped me realise there is something that I can tap into quite easily from inside myself and I should do it; I shouldn't try to do what I think people want to do or want to see.
