Latur city election results: Congress leader Amit Deshmukh ahead of BJP's Arhchana Chakurkar by over 10,000 votes

NEW DELHI: Congress leader Amit Deshmukh is currently ahead of BJP's Dr Arhchana Patil Chakurkar by over 10,000 votes. After 13 rounds counted, Deshmukh has secured 55,018 votes while the BJP candidate Chakurkar has secured 44,753 votes. Vanchit Bahujan Aaghadi's Vinod Somprakash Khatke is currently at the third place with 17,752 votes.

Latur City is one of Maharashtra's 288 Assembly constituencies, located in Latur district, which ranks as the 16th largest city in the state and serves as the district headquarters.
