Initially slated to open this past summer next door to sister wine shop West Altadena Wine & Spirits, Good Neighbor Bar served its first drink in early October at 2311 Lincoln Avenue. Behind both businesses are hospitality vets Randy Clement and April Langford; the couple own Silverlake Wine, Everson Royce Bar, Highland Park Wine, and the chain of Triple Beam Pizza restaurants. Central to the moody vibe at Good Neighbor Bar is the Brazilian quartzite bar that runs along the room's length.

Patrons looking for more intimate seating will do well nabbing a spot on the blonde wood banquettes fitted with cushions and pillows. The drinks menu features nearly 30 cocktails, including a line of classics, high balls, and tiki drinks, along with natural wines by the glass and canned or bottled beers. There is no kitchen on the premises, but patrons can bring in food or nibble on the provided popcorn.
