Lamborghini Huracan caught in flames. A late-night drive along Mumbai’s Coastal Road took a dramatic turn on Wednesday when a Lamborghini caught fire. Business tycoon Gautam Singhania, a noted car enthusiast and chairman of Raymond, shared a video of the incident on social media.
As reported by PTI, the orange Lamborghini, bearing a Gujarat registration registration number, caught fire around 10:20 PM. While officials are yet to confirm the number of occupants or the exact cause of the fire, visuals shared on social media show flames engulfing the cabin as a person attempted to extinguish them. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
A fire engine promptly arrived at the scene, managing to douse the flames within 45 minutes. Besides the latest incident, Singhania himself had problems with his Lamborghini. Earlier this year, he shared his own ordeal involving a Lamborghini Revuelto.
Just 15 days after purchasing the hybrid sports car, an electrical failure left him stranded on the Trans Harbour Link Road. Last year, the Italian automaker celebrated the delivery of its 150th Huracan in India. First introduced in 2014, the Huracan has established itself as a popular model in the brand’s stable and has been offered in various variants like the Performante, Tecnica, and Sterrato.
