The LaGrange boys basketball team cruised to an 83-51 region win over Trinity Christian in the team’s final regular season game of the 2024-25 season on Friday. The Grangers got off to a quick start, taking a commanding 21-4 lead after the opening quarter. LaGrange never looked back from there, putting a 38-22 advantage on the scoreboard heading to halftime.

The Grangers never gave the Lions an inch and continued to pour it on in the second half, outscoring Trinity Christian 45-29 over the final two quarters of play. It was a balanced Granger attack with 12 total players getting in the scoring column. Senior BJ Wortham would lead the way in his final regular season game with LaGrange, scoring 25 points.



Jalen Fryer and Torian Reeves scored 14 and 10 points, respectively. LaGrange officially wraps the season with a 16-9 overall record and a 10-6 region record. The Grangers will enter the Region 2-3A tournament as the fourth seed.

To make the playoffs, the Grangers will have to finish in at least fourth place in the region tournament next week..
