MANILA, Philippines — The De La Salle Lady Spikers claimed their second straight win and extended their mastery over the Ateneo Blue Eagles, 25-21, 25-17, 25-20, in the UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball tournament at the Araneta Coliseum on Wednesday.Showing no signs of slowing down despite being hospitalized last timeout due to extreme exhaustion after La Salle's 5-set win over UST last Saturday, Angel Canino banged 16 of her 34 attacks on top of seven digs and six receptions.Mikole Reyes tossed 19 excellent sets and logged four digs as La Salle defeated Ateneo for the 16th straight game.Shevana Laput notched 12 points for the Lady Spikers, who improved to 7-3 and solidified their hold of the second spot.AC Miner pumped 13 points and seven digs for the Blue Eagles, who saw their 3-game wining streak come to an end to fall to 4-6 at sixth place.
