Gagachella was a night to remember. Lady Gaga headlined the 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, Calif., on Friday, performing a nearly two-hour show that included songs from her new album, “Mayhem,” plus her greatest hits.
She kicked off her high-energy set with “Bloody Mary” and ran through fan favorites such as “Abracadabra,” “Poker Face” and “Alejandro” before closing out with “Bad Romance.” (See the full 20-track setlist below.) The 39-year-old pop star, whose sold-out Mayhem Ball tour begins in July , previously explained how she had sorted through her wide-ranging catalog to curate Friday’s concert in the desert.
“I think people always want to hear your hits. That has to be a part of it,” she told music website Uproxx on Wednesday. “But also, you know, I’ve actually never been someone that will shy away from my artistry given the venue.
I think Coachella is an opportunity to do something unique and special. ..
. So yes to the hits, but also yes to high artistry.” This was Gaga’s second time headlining Coachella.
She first took the stage in 2017 as a last-minute replacement for Beyoncé, who was pregnant with twins at the time. (Queen Bey later rescheduled for 2018 and chronicled her historic show in the Emmy-nominated Netflix documentary “Homecoming.” ) That year saw Gaga perform for just under 90 minutes, with songs including “Born This Way,” “Telephone,” “Yoü and I” and the debut of “The Cure.
