Lady Gaga fans have praised the star's headline performance at Coachella, with many eagle-eyed viewers spotting several 'Easter eggs' in her act. One of the most highly anticipated performances at the first weekend of Coachella was Lady Gaga , and fans were far from disappointed from her act, with many calling it 'one of the best Coachella acts of all time'. The 39-year-old topped the bill at the festival in Indio, California for the second time, having previously done so in 2017.
Amid all the praises for the singer, several fans were quick to point out several 'Easter eggs' that the start had scattered around her performance that were subtle nods to memorable moments in her career. It all started when the Abracadabra singer walked onto the Coachella stage wearing a metal armour and holding crutches as she began her act by singing Paparazzi. Her choice of outfit is in reference to the original music video which sees her bounce back after falling from a balcony.
Pointing this out, one person took to X to say: "oh Gaga your mind...
". Another fan shared a video of the performance and a photo of Gaga in the armour. With this they wrote: "I’m crying!" "Some things just don't change," a third X user wrote as they showed a screenshot of Lady Gaga performing her newest hit Disease on the Coachella which saw her laying in a bed of skeletons and ashes.
They also shared a photo of the ending of the Bad Romance music video, which sees the singer laying in a bed with a burnt skeleton and ash. The singer seemingly also referenced the same music video later in her performance, as Gaga found herself in a chess dance battle with a dancer dressed as an older-era Gaga, wearing the signature white crown from the iconic music video. To finish off the show, the Bad Romance singer made one last costume change as she appeared on stage wearing the same corset bodysuit and lace-up knee high boots that she wore for the Monster Ball tour.
"Lady Gaga's iconic boots are back!" one fan celebrated. In response to her performance, fans have taken to social media to name Lady Gaga's act the best Coachella performance of all time. One person took to X to say: "Best.

LADY GAGA DID THAT." "Lady Gaga is serving vocals, choreo, visuals, and a STORY all in one performance. this deserves a Grammy in itself idgaf,” a third fan wrote.
"She really said TONIGHT IM MAKING A REFERENCE," another person wrote, to which another fan replied: "Coachella 2025 will forever be remembered as Gaga’s festival."
