After Mtshotane contacted SurgeZirc SA, we reached out to Mandlenkosi Matutu and through his alleged lawyer, he promised to pay back the amount owed at the end of November 2024. Mandlenkosi Matutu of the MK Party still keeps the R15,000 he borrowed from a poor lady named Nokwanda Mtshotane 3 years ago, despite being headlined on SurgeZirc SA crime news a few days back. Matutu, Umkhonto Wesizwe party MP, borrowed it from the lady in 2021.

According to the lady, Matutu called her up to lend him R30,000 so he could buy petrol for his trucks. She could not give him the amount he wanted, so she transferred R15,000 in two separate transactions to Matutu. Since 2021, Mtshotane has made countless efforts to recover her money from Matutu, including reporting to MK Party officials and writing him through her lawyer, all to no avail.

After Mtshotane contacted SurgeZirc SA, we reached out to Mandlenkosi Matutu and through his alleged lawyer, he promised to pay back the amount owed at the end of November 2024. As of the time of writing this article, Matutu through his spokesperson has given countless excuses as reasons for not making payment to the lady’s account. On the 6th of December, he said the department had made payment to Matutu as a contractor, but the cash is yet to be cleared into his account.

Then, on the 11th of December, they claimed to be waiting for payment. See the message below: Until today, 21st December, Matutu and his gang of responders no longer communicate with Nokwanda Mtshotane. This is heartless.

This is tyrannic. Matutu, even though being a politician is not above the law, must not be allowed to get away with this criminal act while the owner of the money lives in pain. Mtshotane believes that society is failing her and this case must be addressed by Matutu’s political party, Umkhonto Wesizwe and the society at large.

We call on all well-meaning South Africans to join voices with SurgeZirc SA in demanding justice for Mtshotane. Mandlenkosi Matutu must be cancelled and relegated to where his likes belong in society. Remember that our expository article on Mandlenkosi Matutu is near completion and will be published soon.
