LA Lakers new jerseys for 2024-25 NBA season ‘leaked’ online as fans rage ‘who is making these decisions?’

THE Los Angeles Lakers new jerseys for the upcoming season have been revealed - and it's safe to say fans aren't impressed with them. The 2024-25 Lakers will be debuting new city edition Nike jerseys. Los Angeles's jerseys are known for their distinct purple and gold colors.

The iconic NBA franchise will continue to display one of the most legendary jerseys in all sports. However, fans have shared their displeasure over the Lakers' new sleeveless new city edition jerseys that got leaked on X. A social media user posted the jersey on the site as the word "Lakers" is replaced with "LakeShow" which is the franchise's official hashtag on X.



Read More on NBA The letters are yellow as the bottom of the jersey is a light purple which strangely fades to black to the top. And the Nike logo is yellow and below the right shoulder. Fans revealed their disappointment with the new threads .

"This is terrible who designed this," one commented. Most read in Basketball "Awful. No effort.

Not just for the Lakers but for the NBA in general. Who’s in charge of designing this and who approved ? Ridiculous," another wrote. "They’re not even trying anymore," a third said.

"Pitiful jerseys," a fourth added. "Who is making these decisions?" a fifth asked. The Lakers' new city edition jerseys have yet to be announced.

Los Angeles will begin their season next month as they will have plenty of questions ahead of them. Coming off a first-round playoff exit, the Lakers will be led by first-time head coach JJ Redick . Superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis will continue to be the team's main contributors.
