L2: Empuraan Box Office Collection Day 6: Mohanlal's Film Crosses Lucifer's Lifetime Haul

Actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran-directorial, L2: Empuraan, was released in theatres on Thursday, March 27. The film starring Mohanlal, in the lead role, earned Rs 21 crore net in India on Day 1, but the collections dropped on Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, it saw a slight growth, but on Day 5, the earnings dropped further.

On Day 6, Empuraan, earned a single-digit number. As per a report in Sacnilk, the film minted only Rs 9 crore net at the domestic market, taking the total box office collections to Rs 79.15 crore.



With this, it has also surpassed the lifetime collection of its first instalment, Lucifer , which reportedly earned Rs 65 crore net in 2019. Meanwhile, Empuraan has crossed the Rs 200 crore mark worldwide in just five days. It is now is approaching towards Rs 250 crore.
