The signing took place during a bilateral meeting between KyrgyzFinance Minister Almaz Baketaev and Tajik Finance MinisterFaiziddin Qahhorzoda.
The signed memorandum lays the groundwork for boosting teamworkin the financial sector, paving the way for sharing know-how,rolling out joint projects, and reeling in foreign investments.This partnership is set to pave the way for regional stability andeconomic growth. The above meeting took place within the Annual Meetings of theBoard of Governors of the World Bank (WB) and the InternationalMonetary Fund (IMF), held in Washington, D.
C., from October 21 to26. Throughout the event, the Kyrgyz Finance Minister held a seriesof high-level discussions focused on financing issues and supportfor the implementation of structural reforms.
