Kylie Minogue is set to become the eighth woman to ever receive an APRA (Australasian Performing Right Association) lifetime achievement award. The “Padam Padam” hitmaker, who was recently honoured with a star, can add yet another achievement to her string of successes. APRA is set to honour the star with the prestigious Ted Albert Award to acknowledge her contributions to the music industry, and she will become just one of eight women to have ever done so.
Minogue first received critical acclaim with a series of hits at the tail end of the 80s before delivering a stellar career revival with “Spinning Around” in 2000. After a decades-long career, the Australian singer has wowed fans once again with her 16th studio album, Tension, and after being criminally underrated for far too long, she is finally receiving her flowers.
