Kwak Sun Young may be teaming up with Lee Na Young and Jung Eun Chae to form a formidable trio of lawyers! On April 10, JTBC Entertainment News reported that Kwak Sun Young has been offered a leading role in the new drama “Honor” (literal title) and is currently finalizing her schedule. In response to the report, a representative from Kwak Sun Young’s agency Zion Entertainment shared, “She has received an offer to star in ‘Honor’ and is reviewing it.” “Honor” is a mystery thriller that tells the story of three female lawyers who confront a massive scandal from the past head-on.
The drama is based on a 2019 Swedish series of the same name. Kwak Sun Young has been offered the role of Hwang Hyun Jin, a lawyer at the L&J law firm and the action-oriented member of the trio. Lee Na Young and Jung Eun Chae are currently in talks to star in the other two leading roles.
Together, the trio will portray long-time friends and colleagues—who have known each other for 20 years—joining forces to stand up against injustice. “Honor” is expected to wrap up casting soon, with filming scheduled to begin this summer.
