Kris Aquino apologizes to ex-boyfriend and family

Kris Aquino has again spoken about her separation from former boyfriend, Dr. Mike Padlan.In a series of Instagram photos, the Queen of All Media addressed reactions to her previous breakup announcement, clarifying details and apologizing for any misunderstandings.Kris began by reaffirming the truth of her initial statement and admitting it was written during a time of loneliness and anger."I did pay for his services as a travel doctor. This was in May 2022. Dr. Mike Padlan wasn't the doctor who accompanied me on the flight to Houston. Yet I didn't ask for a refund," she clarified. "After our [Kuya Josh, Bimby,and me] bout with Covid, Bimb and I were Covid long haulers- Dr. Padlan did go to Houston to check on me."The celebrity mom acknowledged that she unintentionally left out key details in her previous post, which led to mixed reactions from Dr. Mike and his family."My mistake is that I failed to state that he flew to LA around [four times] more on his own... I didn't ask for him to check on me, I would just be surprised that he'd be there. Those visits weren't paid for, nag abono pa nga siya. Doc Mike I APOLOGIZE for NOT STATING THIS IN MY EARLIER POST," she admitted.Despite their breakup, Kris expressed gratitude for Dr. Mike's dedication to her health. She recalled how reassuring it was to have him by her side during some of her lowest moments.She stated, "In him, I saw what I had been looking for - Someone I could discuss my medical issues with, my feeling of fatigue, my lack of balance, my suffering from suddenly getting dizzy then collapsing, the significance of blood draw results, the bones jutting out my knee, and why had my taste buds changed... I miss Pokemon and Lego SO MUCH," Kris wrote."Mama Kris is VERY SORRY for making you angry and sad because of what I posted. I was wrong in not considering the impact it would have on both of you. You both brought sunshine and laughter when I most needed it. I know I am no longer deserving to be your Mama Kris. BUT even if I had known things would end up this way - except for hurting the two of you, your mommy, and your tita Judith- I would still have chosen to give loving one more attempt; I can say that because I got the chance to love you."The actress then reflected on her shattered expectations of a happy ending with Dr. Mike and his family. She admitted that as her health deteriorated, her ex-boyfriend began to "retreat."Kris also confirmed that while Dr. Mike did face financial struggles last year, it was unfair to pin the blame on her. She revealed that she had extended help during his difficult times, which he had gratefully acknowledged.In the end, Kris shared that despite her efforts to fight for their relationship, Dr. Mike chose to walk away. However, that does not mean my father never loved her. He truly did. Their relationship was real, and he cared deeply for her. But love alone is not always enough to make a relationship last forever. Kris grew up in the spotlight as she is the daughter of the late politician and celebrated personality. She and the former president put family in high regard and believe that "family will always come first". Her ex-boyfriend is the father of her first son Josh.

Her six years of marriage with the professional basketball player was blessed with the arrival of James Carlos Aquino Yap, Jr. or Bimby. Former co-host, manager and friend Dominic was another one of her business partners.

In one of her photos with Derek, Kris noted how 'it helps a lot to [be] working with good friends". Josh is the firstborn of Kris. She couldn't be more proud of his achievements, and his discipline in his fitness journey.

Bimby is the baby of the household but in one post, she called him her Knight in Shining Armor. After their publicized romance, she later shared that they've finally reached "the friend zone". The councilor is Kris' new friend who toured her around different spots in Nueva Ecija during the taping of Trip Ni Kris.

Celebrity TV host Kris Aquino lashed out against James Yap after her ex-husband posted on Instagram a birthday message for their son Bimby Aquino. The actress claimed that James doesn't care for their child and was not even there to defend Bimby when a TV broadcaster bullied the kid. Action star Philip Salvador's name was once dragged in a controversy involving Kris and James.

One netizen asked the Queen of All Media about Philip providing some assistance to Josh. Kris replied and said that she respects him, because he didn't get any money from them and kept a respectful distance. The young lawyer captured the attention of netizens after appearing in a four-part online special featuring his tea date with Kris on the latter's Facebook account.

Rumor has it that romance is brewing between the two. In her Instagram post last October 2021, Kris Aquino declared, "Looking forward na akong maging Sarmiento." In a previous post, fans speculated about her "mystery man," which was later on revealed to be former DILG secretary Mel Sarmiento.

Unfortunately, their engagement did not ended up in marriage as Kris revealed this January 2022 that she and Mel have broken up. Batangas Vice Governor Mark Leviste was Kris' boyfriend when she was staying in the United States for medical treatment. Unfortunately, the two had to "pause" their relationship since Mark needed to go back to the Philippines.
