has met with Nvidia Corp. CEO Jensen Huang in the United States to discuss cooperation in artificial intelligence (AI) in gaming and robotics, the South Korean gaming company said Friday. Krafton CEO Kim Chang-han met with Huang at Nvidia’s headquarters in Santa Clara, California, on Thursday (U.
S. time) and discussed future directions for next-generation technology collaboration, focusing on innovations in game development using Agentic AI and expansion into robotics through Embodied AI. Agentic AI refers to technology capable of autonomously setting goals, making plans and solving complex problems without human intervention.
Embodied AI involves physical devices, such as robots, that interact directly with real-world environments. At the meeting, Kim praised the companies’ collaborative project in gaming, which will enable real-time, dynamic in-game interactions that go beyond traditional scripted non-playable characters. The South Korean company announced in January that it has jointly developed an AI technology, named co-playable character (CPC) technology, with Nvidia aimed at innovating the gaming experience for users.
