Kopri-Pachpakhadi election results 2024: Mahayuti's Eknath Shinde, MVA's Kedar Prakash Dighe in fray

Kedhar Dighe and Eknath Shinde NEW DELHI: Kopri-Pachpakhadi is a General category assembly constituency amongst the 288 constituencies in Maharashtra state. It is located in the Thane district and forms one of the 6 assembly segments under the Thane Parliamentary Seat. In this year's election, the Mahayuti alliance comprising of BJP, Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar-led NCP have selected Eknath Shinde to contest the election while Maha Vikas Aghadi comprising of Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT) of Uddhav Thackeray and Sharad Pawar's NCP (SP) has selected Kedar Prakash Dighe.

Eknath Sambhaji Shinde representing Shiv Sena secured the seat by defeating Indian National Congress candidate Ghadigaonkar Sanjay Pandurang with a difference of 89300 votes. According to the 2011 Census, the Scheduled Caste population in Kopri-Pachpakhadi assembly constitutes approximately 22,287 voters, representing about 6.
