Kolmar Global has chosen actor Ji Chang-wook as the first global ambassador for their hangover remedy brand, Condition. The decision aims to boost brand recognition in Southeast Asian markets such as Vietnam, the Philippines, and Singapore, and strengthen its presence in the global healthcare market. Since its launch in 1992, Condition has maintained a leading position for 33 consecutive years in the South Korean hangover remedy market.
A subsidiary of Kolmar Holdings, Kolmar Global handles its international distribution. The brand is currently available in 15 countries, including Japan, China, Vietnam, Singapore, the Philippines, Mongolia, and the Netherlands. The campaign slogan "Boost Your Day" will accompany an extensive marketing push through various channels such as outdoor advertisements, social media, and TikTok, aiming to enhance connections with local consumers.
"Ji Chang-wook, beloved worldwide for his healthy and energetic image, perfectly embodies the values Condition aspires to," said an official from Kolmar Global. "Through this campaign, we intend to strengthen communication with local consumers and expand our brand influence." Kolmar Global is also expanding the Condition product line to include health supplements and reduced-sugar beverages, employing localization strategies tailored to each country's regulations and trends.
As a result, the brand has already gained significant popularity, achieving the top market share in Vietnam, China, and Mongolia. There are also plans to enter the U.S.
