Previous two attempts did not yield any result.

The state government has termed this meeting the “fifth and final invitation for talks.” It has been confirmed that, in contrast to earlier instances, the doctors have proceeded into the meeting area, signaling the start of official negotiations. The initial discussions between the doctors and the Chief Minister, including the one on Saturday, September 14, were unsuccessful due to disagreements regarding the live transmission or recording of the proceedings.

The doctors had insisted that the discussions be videographed, with a copy handed to them immediately after the meeting. This led to both sides walking away from negotiations without reaching a consensus. Mamata Banerjee, having previously stepped back to focus on her duties, has now rejoined the initiative to resolve the deadlock.

It is anticipated that both parties will collaborate towards a solution, with the ongoing negotiations aimed at concluding the protests. For breaking news and live news updates, like us on or follow us on and . Read more on Latest on .
