Knoxville forecast includes clear skies, potential storms, and temperatures hitting the 80s, with strong gusts expected.

The National Weather Service in Knoxville has released a forecast promising a mix of clear skies and potential storms in the coming days. Temperatures are expected to rise well into the 80s, accompanied by windy conditions that could see gusts reach up to 50 mph, especially in the mountainous regions and foothills. According to the National Weather Service, a sunny outlook with a high of 81 degrees today will give way to a cooler evening, with clouds gathering as southward winds pick up.

Into the night, these winds may persist with gusts possibly hitting the 25 mph mark, while the coming days suggest an escalation in temperatures—the mercury could plateau at a warm 86 degrees by Friday. However, what arrives after the warmth could bring tumult, for a cold front is set to enter the region by Sunday, raising both the specter of thunderstorms and the prospect of torrential rainfall, which could purportedly overflow into flooding. The Weather Service has not called for spotter activation but advises the public to remain vigilant, notably on Sunday when a 90 percent chance of showers and possible thunderstorms are on the books, a subsequent dip in temperature to near 61 on Monday will provide respite from the storm's rage.

The passing weather disturbance finally exits stage left Tuesday, with sunny skies and a high nearing 58 degrees predicted..
