Kisser Owners Plan Second Restaurant

Japanese-influenced daytime bakery Babychan is set to open in the Neuhoff Development

Leina Horii and Brian Lea in Kisser The owners of award-winning Kisser in East Nashville are planning for Germantown an Asian cuisine restaurant called Babychan. According to the restaurant’s social media, Babychan is set to open in spring or summer 2025 in the Neuhoff Development . Babychan will be a Japanese-influenced daytime bakery and coffee shop featuring shokupan, rice omelets, onigiri and pastries.

There will be grab-and-go options as well as restaurant service. Kisser opened in 2023 at 747 Douglas Ave., and its chef-owners Leina Horii and Brian Lea were James Beard award finalists for Best New Restaurant in 2024.



Neuhoff has landed several high-profile tenants in the past year, including Boston Consulting Group and Mashburn fashion boutique .
